"Measurement points" must be defined at compressor stations. These measuring points are intended to indicate the exact locations for the attachment point of the electrode.

For the purpose of clearly defining these measuring points, we have developed the LKS MESSPUNKT in cooperation with leading companies in cathodic corrosion protection.
​
In addition to the simple positioning in different construction lengths, the LKS measuring point can be installed on all common surfaces, such as lawn asphalt or concrete.
The yellow cap is useful for the optical detection of the LKS measuring point. It sits firmly in the housing opening and is still easy to remove. The opening allows the use of all known measuring probes.
For the marking of the LKS measuring point, a recess was provided for the inclusion of proven retro-reflective films. This is a tested road sign film, with special UV protection and a very high weather resistance.

In addition, the reflective film is protected by a laminate coating and thus obtains an extremely high mechanical abrasion resistance.
For a high mechanical load capacity, especially in installation situations where the LKS measuring point is overrun, the housing is filled with a plastic, mechanically highly loadable plastic casting compound.

The casting compound is characterized by a high resistance to static and cyclic pressure loads. It is also resistant to aging, as well as resistant to frost and common dew agents.
